REVIV IV Drip Therapy & IM Vitamin Shots in Toronto and London

REVIV IV drip therapy
How is it administered?
What are the benefits of IV drip therapy?
Speed
IV drip therapy allows nutrients to bypass the digestive system and enter the bloodstream directly. This can lead to quicker availability of nutrients which are readily absorbed by the cells depending on need.
Efficiency
The direct delivery of nutrients into the bloodstream can result in higher bioavailability compared to oral intake, where some nutrients may be partially broken down during digestion or not fully absorbed.
Convenience
IV drip therapy can be administered relatively quickly, often within 30 to 60 minutes. This convenience might be appealing to individuals with busy schedules who are looking for a rapid way to receive nutrients.

REVIV IM vitamin shots
How is it administered?
What are the benefits of IM vitamin shots?
Potency
The delivery bypasses the digestive system, where some nutrients may be partially broken down or not effectively absorbed. As a result, the potency of the vitamins can be higher with a larger proportion entering the bloodstream becoming available for the body to use.
Durability
IM vitamin shots can lead to sustained levels of vitamins in the bloodstream over a longer period. This is because the nutrients are gradually released from the muscle into the bloodstream, providing a more consistent and prolonged supply.
Effectiveness
Due to the direct delivery of nutrients into the bloodstream, IM vitamin shots are often considered more effective for rapid results. Vitamin shots can be particularly useful in cases where immediate vitamin replenishment is needed.

What can I expect on my first visit?
On your first visit, our experienced team will provide an overview of all REVIV therapies and help decide on the best therapy for you. Medical screening and observations with a nurse or doctor will then take place ahead of your chosen therapy being administered.
How long do the therapies take?
REVIV IV Drip Therapy take an average of 30-40 minutes to administer and our booster injections take just seconds. *Extra time should be allowed on the first visit for the completion of medical forms and doctor/ nurse consult.
Are REVIV IV therapies and Booster Shots safe?
Whilst all medical therapies carry some risk, REVIV clients are lead by highly qualified doctors adhering to stringent medical protocols and safety standards. All of our medical staff are licensed and trained paramedics/nurses with years of experience. REVIV has now conducted access to 500,000 therapies globally.
Does it hurt?
You should expect to feel nothing more than a slight scratch during the insertion of the infusion needle or the injection. To further mitigate any minor discomfort, pre-therapy application of localized numbing cream is available.
Do I need to get testing done prior to getting an IV?
No. You will not require any testing prior to consultation. Our eligibility criteria are based on the same decision-making algorithms utilized in hospitals. We do not make any medical diagnoses and our therapies are not intended to treat any medical condition. Our therapies are designed to restore balance to your body and help you maintain wellness.
How long will the effects last?
The majority of REVIV customers report that they ‘feel’ significantly better for up to 7 days following an IV infusion whilst continuing to experience the benefits for up to 1 month. Customers opting for booster injections experience a positive benefit from a single therapy for up to 72 hours. *The effects of REVIV will differ dependent on the choice of infusion and can be impacted by multiple physiological elements.
Are REVIV therapies better than oral hydration and supplements?
Delivering hydration and nutrients via IV means you get 100% absorption of these essential elements. When drinking water, sports drinks, energy drinks or taking oral vitamins, they all pass through your digestive track and you only absorb about 50% of their benefits.
Is REVIV approved by Health Canada?
REVIV services are individually prescribed and prepared therapies that are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Any designations or references to specific therapies have not been evaluated by Health Canada. They are intended for marketing purposes only and do not represent actual products.
As required by Health Canada, all the specific devices, fluids, nutrients and drugs used in the provisioning of REVIV services have been evaluated and appropriately licensed by Health Canada.
How is REVIV regulated in Canada?
By in large, doctors, nurses and how they practice is regulated by their respective colleges in concert with applicable Provincial scope of practice guidelines. Health Canada regulates and licenses products and devices used in practice based a number of factors included health claims.
- REVIV Canada doctors and nurses operate within their respective scope of practice and their respective college and provincial guidelines.
- All of the devices, fluids, nutrients and drugs used in REVIV therapies are approved as either a Medical Device (MDL), Drug (DIN) or Natural Health Product (NPN). Each therapy combines a unique combination of these approved nutrients and drugs (where indicated) that are compounded for an individual by a licensed pharmacy as directed by a licensed doctor.
For further clarity, compounding is how physicians or other healthcare professionals order custom medications for their patients. The compounding pharmacist combines the necessary ingredients into the form the doctor has ordered. Compounding pharmacies in Canada are regulated on both the federal and provincial levels. On the federal level, the Policy on Manufacturing and Compounding Drug Products in Canada contains important definitions and broad guidelines about what constitutes compounding and what is considered drug manufacturing.
Is REVIV considered medicine, complementary medicine, or alternative medicine?
REVIV’s clinical practice is focused on the nexus between medicine and complementary medicine. REVIV performs medical procedures (controlled acts) in administering injectable therapies (IV & IM) that may contain both pharmacological (drug) and nutrient (health) therapies based on an assessment of presenting symptoms. The pharmacological therapies are considered standard medical practice. The nutrient therapies are by and large considered complementary medicine.
REVIV’s Global R&D resources are focused on pushing the science of complementary nutrient therapy to become more standard medical practice. Current core areas of research include studying the treatment of Type II Diabetes and Fatigue using targeted nutrient therapy.
Additional Notes: What is considered to be within standard medical scope of practice is largely based on conclusive scientific evidence that clearly demonstrates efficacy. Complementary medicine is also evidence-based but is less conclusive or evolving.
This science is constantly evolving. For example, it is broadly considered as complementary medicine. The exception to this is where there is a diagnosed nutrient deficiency, for example, Scurvy or Vitamin B12. In these cases, there is a diagnosed deficiency and nutrient supplementation is considered within the standard scope of medical practice.
